Our services

Full Body Massage

A full body massage is a form of massage therapy that involves massaging (almost!) the entire body, using professional techniques that can help to relieve muscle soreness, promote relaxation, and reduce stress. A full body massage will typically include the back, legs, arms, head, shoulders, and feet.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage is designed to relieve some of the problems that are common during pregnancy. It can relieve stress and reduce swelling in your arms and legs. A qualified therapist will know which areas to target, and which to avoid. Massage in pregnancy can involve many different massage techniques.

Finger Pressure

In the Japanese language, shiatsu means “finger pressure”. Shiatsu techniques include massages with fingers, thumbs, elbow, knuckle, feet and palms; acupressure, assisted stretching; and joint manipulation and mobilization.

Tibetan Head Massage

Involves a 5 stage massage and acupressure* of the scalp, face, throat, neck, shoulders and upper arms which is performed through clothing. In Tibetan traditional medicine, massage is carried-out to re-balance the body’s energy in order to allow the body to heal itself.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage technique which uses deep pressure. Combining slow strokes and notable finger pressure, the purpose is to release the tension and tightness held deeply in your muscles and your connective tissues. A deep tissue massage will typically focus on your primary areas of discomfort.

Back & Shoulders

Getting a back, neck and shoulder massage offers relief from tension stored in the body. It will soothe away any stiffness you’re feeling in these areas, as well as aches and pains. Beyond that, this type of massage creates a deep sense of relaxation, as well as renewed energy and vitality.

Reflexology

Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet, ears, and hands. This is done using thumb, finger, and hand massage techniques without the use of oil or lotion.

Sports Massage

A sports massage focuses on enhancing circulation, increasing tissue elasticity and reducing muscle tension. Sports massage is also used to help relieve tight muscles. Muscle tightness can limit flexibility, increase pain and cause future injuries. Sports massage helps release muscle tightness.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management. Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as chi or qi (chee) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance. In contrast, many Western practitioners view the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. Some believe that this stimulation boosts your body’s natural painkillers.

Testimonials

“Regular therapy massage should be part of everyone’s lifestyle and exercise routine: it helps to stimulate blood flow and lower blood pressure – I suffered a mini-stroke (T.I.A.) a couple of years ago due to stress and consequently high blood pressure. Lucia’s therapy and guidance have helped me get my blood pressure under control and given me more energy. I feel healthier and better balanced than ever!”

Having your energy balanced, gives you stamina to deal with life’s challenges, no matter if you are a housewife or a high-ranking professional. Even children nowadays suffer from stress… Holistic massage on a regular basis can also be help to improve the appearance of cellulite and tackle body fat. I feel fortunate to know such an excellent professional and would like to spread the ‘feel good’ word. The time is now!”

Most frequent questions and answers

Therapeutic Massage is a form of hands-on therapy that uses various techniques to manipulate the muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues of the body. The aim is to promote relaxation, reduce pain and tension, and improve overall physical and mental well-being.

The benefits of Therapeutic Massage can include reduced muscle tension, improved circulation, decreased stress and anxiety, improved sleep quality, increased range of motion and flexibility, and pain relief.

There are many types of Therapeutic Massage, including Sciatic Release, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue Massage, Stress, Muscle Relaxation, Insomnia, Low / High Blood Pressure, Depression, Sciatic Nerve, Erectile Disfunction, Migraine, PMS, and many others. Each type of massage has its own specific techniques and benefits.

The length of a Therapeutic Massage session can vary, but typically ranges from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. The duration of the session will depend on the type of massage, the therapist’s approach, and the client’s needs and preferences.

The cost of a Therapeutic Massage session can vary depending on factors such as location, type of massage, and length of session. Prices are from £70 or more per session.

The frequency of Therapeutic Massage sessions can depend on various factors such as the client’s goals, health status, and budget. Some people choose to get massages on a regular basis, such as once a week or once a month, while others may only get massages occasionally.

Clients typically wear loose, comfortable clothing during a Therapeutic Massage session. Depending on the type of massage, the client may need to undress to their comfort level and be draped with a sheet or towel for privacy.

During a Therapeutic Massage, the therapist will typically ask about the client’s health history and any areas of concern or pain. The client will then be asked to lie down on a massage table and the therapist will use various techniques to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body.
